The Glassmaker

October 8, 2020

A jewel? A vase? Yes, but made in Murano!
Those of our beloved Madame Uesi.

Let me present you Mrs Uesi Bettonica.
We would have liked to present it to you personally at the event of the “Literary Cafe” of Plinio il Giovane, which should have been held these days. For obvious circumstances we prefer to present it directly to your home.

Daughter of the famous designer and a mother passionate about transparency and colors of glass, she carries on a craft handed down to her mother Madame Bettonica.

One craft, that of glass processing, born 4000 years ago.
A profession that must be saved and that is what Mrs Uesi does.

How? Telling, with his mother, the story of these magnificent vases.
Where? In the historic Milanese atelier a few steps from the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie.
What is it called? “The Glassmaker” obviously.

If by chance you love the wood of Plinio il Giovane, know that Pliny the Younger loves the glass of Mrs Uesi.
We will be very happy if for you, or for your loved ones, you want to give a beautiful object. An object that if you take care of it, will last forever.
