Totem
Totem is extremely light but can be filled with loads of heavy books or old record albums.
It can stand in the middle of a room or a few of them in a row side by side can be used to separate one area of the house from another. It is as light as a feather but can bear any heavy weight.
The strength of the Totem comes from the oak which has been used along with the method of old fashioned joints. To make an object by hand out of a living material like wood, using old fashioned tools and drawing on years of experience, ensures the same level of durability of the beautiful furniture of years gone by, that we see today in antique shops. Pure linseed oil is used to treat the wood, to enhance the grain but also to make it water repellent as well as improve the gloss and generally prolong the life of the product.
